A hero is someone who helps out innocent people in need for unselfish reasons, but are heroes really necessary in are society. Or are hero's just this artificial idea of what a strong, confident, brave and loyal person is. If these are characteristic of heroes then isn't everyone a hero. Although one person may not share all these characteristic they do at least have one. I don't think society needs heroes because a hero is suppose to be a selfless person and i feel although heroes do good to help out others its also to ensure there status. Yes they do good deeds, but what are there true intentions helping you out or themselves?
On a person level there has not been a single time when I've help someone out and didn't feel good about myself after. No this doesn't make me a bad person nor am i completely selfish, but when you help out someone in need naturally you feel good about what you did after. Which concludes my point helping out others in need doesn't make you a hero it makes you human.

Education
I think Education is very valuable in America. Many people come to this country to get a better education and a better job. For example many immigrants parents come to this country and have there kids so they can get a higher education then they did. If education wasn't valuable in this country there would be no doctor, lawyers, scientists, dentists etc.
Education is very valuable in my life because I want to get ahead in life and pursue my goals to make my mom proud. I also want to be a good influence on my brother because although he older then me he has yet to graduate high school. I hope him seeing me graduate and go off to collage will influence him to go back to school and have a successful life.
